Weekly Update #139

Hello FieldClock Users!

We hope that you've had a safe and enjoyable week! If there's anything that we at FieldClock can do to help work in the cold months, let us know. Oh, and don't forget to check our new blog for other news updates, tutorials and testimonials!

On to the update.

New Error Page
Previously, with the new site launch, our site would simply display a blank white page when an error occurred (which wasn't very helpful!). Now, we've created a much more user-friendly pop-up, as seen below.

Upcoming Releases

  • Equipment tracking
  • SMS end of day summaries
  • ACH payments
  • Activity logging
  • Revamped control panel
  • Bulk-employee editing at Jobs
  • Enhanced Employee filtering / reporting

Did You Know...
The Daily Pay report can be used to provide an average hourly rate per job (on a daily basis), as well as a summary of daily job pay per Crew Boss.

To access this report, navigate to the 'Reports' section of the Admin Site and click 'Daily Pay' (on the right-hand side of the page).

By default, the report will generate for the current day, and display data by job. The data displayed will include the number of employees at the job, piece rate (if applicable), average hours between employees, average $/hr, minimum $/hr and maximum $/hr.

Alternatively, by using the 'Breakdown' drop-down menu, you can sort the jobs by Crew Boss. The data displayed here will include number of employees under this Crew Boss (includes the Crew Boss if they themselves worked this job), total hours worked, piecework (if applicable) and the total payout for the job.

Like most reports, once Daily Pay has been generated and sorted to your satisfaction, the data can be downloaded in the CSV format and/or printed in a printer-friendly view.

Friendly Reminders

  • If data is still syncing or has not synced, do not sign out of the mobile app - data will be lost!
  • Please remember to check for device as well as FieldClock updates

Until next week!

Best Regards,
The FieldClock Team
