Hello FieldClock Users!
Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a fantastic 2019 and has an even better 2020. Thanks to you, we learned a tremendous amount last year and are already putting it to work. We have a lot of exciting new features planned for you this year, so let's get to it.
On to the update:
New Feature Alert!
We're constantly looking for ways to make it easier to create jobs. Last year we introduced bulk finalization and improved job filtering to manage many jobs at the same time. Now we're turning our attention to improving the creation of jobs.
The first step is a new feature we call "Pay Templates". Pay Templates roll up a bunch of related requests we've received over the years and rolls them up into 1 powerful feature. Ever wanted a default value that automatically populates for piecework? Or the ability to specify a minimum or maximum piece price that crew bosses can enter? With Pay Templates, you can set minimums, maximums, defaults -- and you can even scope your rules based on the location, task, variety, and piece type.
In addition to preventing underpay or overpay for piecework, pay templates are going to be integrated with the mobile apps to save crew bosses time when creating jobs. Imagine being able to select "Picking Honeycrisp" and have the form automatically switch to Piecework pay with a "Bin" type and a default price.
We're in the final beta-testing stage for this feature and expect to roll it out in the next week. Stay tuned for more information!
