We hope that harvest's been progressing well for everyone! Today's newsletter is going to be a rather short one, with a quick setting-related feature highlight and our usual overview of upcoming additions to FieldClock.
On to the update.
Did You Know...
Manual clock-in on the mobile app can be disabled, in favor of allowing clock-ins only via badge scan. To do this, as a company or account administrator, navigate to the 'Admin' tab of the admin site and click the 'Misc.' tab. From there, in the 'Configuration' section, hit the small 'Edit' button at the top-right.
You'll now see the admin settings edit form. To find the 'Manual Clock-in' setting, hit the 'Clocking-In' tab towards the top, and find the setting just below.
By default, this setting will be enabled, allowing employees to be clocked in on mobile both via badge scanning, and having their names be manually entered by a crew boss. When disabled, employees will only be able to be clocked-in using their badges.

- Activity logging
- Revamped control panel
- Custom reporting
- If data is still syncing or has not synced, do not sign out of the mobile app - data will be lost!
