Weekly Update #152

Hello FieldClock Users!

As summer and harvest get closer, we hope that you all are enjoying the warm weather! This week's newsletter includes a handy new feature related to Payroll Batches and a quick billing-related feature highlight.

On to the update.

New Feature: Payroll Batch Preview

We know that sometimes it can be frustrating to catch issues in Payroll Batches before they're created, though due to the fact that they cannot currently be reverted, it's often necessary. As such, we've gone ahead and added a 'Preview' functionality.

Now, when creating a Payroll Batch, you can download a 'Preview File' of the batch, in CSV format, before committing entirely to creating the batch. To do this, simply create a Payroll Batch as you normally would, but before you hit 'Generate', instead click the new 'Download Preview' button to the right, near the batch total.

Once downloaded, the Preview CSV will include virtually all data that you could require, including Employee, Crew Boss, Total & Active Hours, Task and even the direct URL to each referenced job.

*Please note that Automatic Break Pay will not be included in the Preview CSV, given that it is calculated at Payroll Batch creation.

Did You Know...

For Account Administrators, your company's billing history can be easily accessed through the 'Account' tab of the admin site.

To begin, navigate to 'Account', and then to 'View Billing History' on the far-right of the page, towards the top.

This will present you with a list of your past invoices, each of which can be interacted with for more detail.

Upcoming Releases

  • Equipment tracking
  • Printer-friendly Job report
  • Team picking
  • Activity logging
  • Revamped control panel
  • Custom reporting

Friendly Reminders

  • If data is still syncing or has not synced, do not sign out of the mobile app - data will be lost!
  • Please remember to check for device as well as FieldClock updates

Until next week!

Best Regards,
The FieldClock Team
