As we get ever closer to spring and the weather keeps warming, we hope that everyone's had an enjoyable and productive March so far! We've got a quick update to the Employee Portal this week, and a Badge-related feature highlight.
On to the update.
Feature Update: International Numbers for Employee Portal
This week we're excited to announce the initial steps of our mission to support the use of international phone numbers for the Employee Portal.
Below are all currently-supported countries:
- United States
- New Zealand
When entering an employee's phone number, you will now be prompted to configure their international code based on the number.
Once configured, use of this number is identical to the previous use of US-exclusive phone numbers when using the Employee Portal. If you're unsure as to how the Employee Portal is used, please reference this help article for more information.
- Equipment tracking (very close!)
- Activity logging
- Revamped control panel
- Bulk-employee editing at Jobs
- Enhanced Employee filtering / reporting
Did You Know...
If an employee is set to login with a badge, their PIN can be easily reset/set at any time from the admin site. To do this, simply navigate to their profile and find the 'Reset PIN' button, just below the 'Edit Employee' button (and possible 'Manage Companies', depending on how your account is configured).
Please also note that this will need to be done at least once when an Employee is first set to login with a badge.
Upon pressing this, a new PIN will be generated for this employee. This PIN should be recorded somewhere for reference.
At any time, this PIN can be reset again to generate a new, fully-functioning, login PIN.
- If data is still syncing or has not synced, do not sign out of the mobile app - data will be lost!
