Weekly Update #128

Hello FieldClock Users!

We hope that you've had a enjoyable and productive week as we transition further into the colder months. As always, if there's anything we can do to make that smoother, please reach out.

On to the update.

Continued Improvements

We continue to make further and greater strides in our migration project, and as the process proceeds, you should see more and more advances in stability and performance. We also appreciate your patience during this time of transition, and we are just as eager as you all to move on to more 'flashy' and exciting features.

Upcoming Releases

In addition to our migration project, we are also working on…

  • Public Site Overhaul
  • Revamped Control Panel
  • ACH Payments
  • API Access
  • Activity Logging

Did You Know…

You can assign 'group numbers' to specific employees to further assist in sorting large numbers of workers. To set a group number for an employee, first ensure that you have the feature enabled in the admin settings. To do this, navigate to the 'Admin' tab, and click 'Misc.', followed by the 'Edit' button at the right-hand side of the page.

Above is the setting that will need to be toggled should you desire to enable the group numbers feature.

Once enabled, you simply need to edit an employee (or create a new one) to add a group number, as seen below.

A group number can be a set of any alphanumeric characters (in other words, it can even be letters) that you desire, allowing you to input whatever you find to be most helpful when sorting employees. Once set, employees can be sorted by group number using the employee filter feature.
