Hello FieldClock Users!
Happy first day of October! We hope that you've all had a productive and pleasant week as the last warm days of the year begin to close out. We're also happy to announce that regarding last week's issue with our suspension on Google Play, our appeal was accepted and FieldClock as well as FieldClock Kiosk are again available for download on Android.
On to the update.
Continued Improvements Server migrations and stability improvements are still moving along nicely. As always, we appreciate your patience while we work through these.
New Feature: Quality Control Notes QC Notes are finally here! Identifying where quality is lacking should now be much easier to record, track and review later on. Within the Admin section you can now configure "Note Fields" and "Note Templates".
"Note Fields" can be a variety of input types. Each field is given a name and (optionally) comments describing how the field should be graded. For number fields, you can also specify min/max/default values. (For "slider" type, these are required.)
Note Fields don't apply to all notes. A "Note Template" can be created with a collection of Note Fields that apply to specific Varieties. When adding fields to a template, you can specify fields as being "required". When specified as such, the user will be required to enter a value for the fields when creating a QC Note.
These "Note Templates" may then be selected within the mobile app according to the specified Varieties. This allows admins to create different Templates for different crop types. e.g. A specific template for Grapes but a different one for Apples.
All QC Notes are viewable from the Notes tab within the Job as well as our all-new report, which you can find on the Reports page:
Please reference our help article for a full write-up.
In addition to our continued platform improvements, we are working also on the following…
- Public Site Overhaul
- ACH Payments
- Revamped Control Panel
- API Access
- Activity Logging
- If data is still syncing or has not synced, do not sign out of the mobile app - data will be lost!
- Please remember to check for device as well as FieldClock updates
If you have any questions or requests, or you think that you might have found a bug, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support staff!
Until next week!
The FieldClock Team
