Hello FieldClock Users!

As many of you probably noticed, we missed last weeks newsletter. Our apologies for that. While we weren't writing it, we were hard at work on some exciting new features we think will make up for it. On to the update:

We're very happy to announce new features for calculating pay!  We'll be rolling out the following features over the next 2 days, so keep an eye out for:

New Overtime Features

FieldClock has offered Overtime calculation for a while, but we're expanding the configuration options so that you can customize the start of your workweek. Additionally, we're enhancing the calculation method for Overtime so that any non-productive time you track in FieldClock will be properly marked and paid as Overtime.

New Doubletime Features

Many of our customers are in jurisdictions that require employees to be paid doubletime above certain thresholds. FieldClock now allows you to configure Doubletime in your Wage programs. Doubletime is calculated the same way as Overtime, and any non-productive time that falls in doubletime will also be properly marked as Doubletime.

Overtime/Doubletime Tracking Report

To help you keep track of which employees are approaching (or already in) Overtime and Doubletime territory, we've added a new report. The Overtime report displays the employees that have been active on the current Workday (or in the current Workweek) and how their hours compare to your Overtime and Doubletime thresholds.

Re-organized Reports Home

Our Reports section keeps growing and we have a number of new reports in our pipeline.  To help make them easier to find, we've reorganized the Reports Home to group the various reports according to their purpose.

Did You Know…

We recently expanded Zendesk's capabilities to allow live chat (just like Intercom!). So, if you can't find what you're looking for in our Help Center, you can simply click the 'Live Chat' button to chat directly with one of Support Team members:

  • If data is still syncing or has not synced, do not sign out of the mobile app - data will be lost!
